Our story

OnTarget CPA is a family owned and operated business, and we have an intimate understanding of what it takes to start and succeed at a business venture. It is with that same passion that we provide support for other community-based and closely held businesses.

After 10 years in public accounting, Michael Jamison created a vision for an accounting firm that provided large-firm quality services but focused on the personalized experience that can only be provided by a smaller firm. That dream came to life in 2015 when OnTarget CPA was founded.

MICHAEL JAMISON, CPA, CGMA

President and CEO

Michael has worked in the field of public accounting since 2007. He holds the credentials of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Jamison was selected for CPA Practice Advisor’s 2020 “40 Under 40” Awards which recognize emerging leaders in the accounting profession. He was named as a top ten finalist in Accounting for Indy’s Best and Brightest in 2020 and 2021 and received the Emerging Leader Award from the Indiana CPA Society in 2020.
